Overkill - Scorched
A very classic thrash metal album from a prolific and historic thrash metal band. Always just a bit under the shadow of Anthrax, Slayer, Metallica, and Megadeth, they’ve nonetheless managed to continue even 40 years later put out a classic banger.
I personally find thrash metal a little boring– just a personal taste thing. Even given that, the album managed to keep my attention the whole way through with enough interesting riffs and Blitz’s astounding vocals that, even in his 60s, toes a line that would feel right at home in front of an American power metal band just the same as it does fronting Overkill.
